wingsofcharity, who wanted something with babies. I feel like I haven't written in the Potterverse for quite some time, so I'm sorry if this sucks.
None of them are quite sure who the father is.
Hermione doesn’t mind- she can’t mind, not when she comes into their kitchen for breakfast, and Ron has baby food in his hair, or when she catches Harry wiping away big, fat tears. They’re all hers, and everything else is unnecessary knowledge, and unnecessary knowledge is something that Hermione has never had time for.
That, however, doesn’t stop her parents from wanting to know.
“How are we supposed to introduce you all? My granddaughter and her two fathers? It’s not like you played surrogate mother, Hermione. What if Harry or Ron decides that they don’t want to be a part of your little threesome- I can’t believe that you would be so irresponsible to bring a child into this-“ her mother ranted, pacing with each word.
“Mom!” Hermione interrupted, tears gathering in her eyes. She wasn’t sure what she had been hoping for, but this wasn’t it.
“Hermione, let your mother finish,” her father said, shaking his head in disappointment.
“No, no. I want to hear what she has to say- I want her to explain this to me,” she said, taking a seat next to her husband.
“I- I love them. I love Ron- I’ve always loved Ron, Mum, you know that, and I think I’ve always loved Harry too. They love me, and maybe more importantly, they love each other. We love our daughter. I was just hoping that you would love her too,” Hermione said, standing.
She heard them both calling her name as she left, but she didn’t bother to turn around. Mainly because she knew that when she gets home, the three of them will be on the couch, fast asleep, covered in the blanket that Molly had made for them when they first moved in together. She had a family to go home to.
Besides, as far as she was concerned, her daughter looked like all three of them.
