I am becoming fond of slices of life for this pairing. Another drabble.
dogdaysofsummer: day 02, prompt
it's not that we're scared, g, 110 words
It’s easy to forget that that people are dying. It’s something that Remus’ mother told him to never forget- but people died every day, before the war, and they would after the war. It was a little too morbid for him to want to focus on.
He’d much rather focus on the way Sirius looked spread out on the grass under him (a little devious, and entirely too beautiful) and how his neck tasted (like sweat, which really wasn’t as disgusting as it was in his head) and just be.
Sirius tugged on his hair, pulling his head up for a kiss. Remus closed his eyes to the darkening sky.
