i'll get ice for your hand
pg, 357 words
final fantasy vii: advent children- rude/tifa, reno
i just needed something to do, so this is sort of shit. title stolen from regina's spektor's your honor.
She doesn't actually like Rude. She'd rather deal with him than Reno though- he was just annoying. It wasn't that Rude was dislikeable- he had just never really given her a reason to like him.
Still, she felt sort of bad for punching him in the face. It had just been a really bad day, and when she saw the suit, she had just reacted. She knew it was a Turk, and therefore, capable of taking whatever she dished out. She just hadn't meant for it to be Rude.
He was silent at first, his hand touching his jaw. Finally, he tilted his head to the side. "You wanna spar?"
Tifa smiled.
Reno paused at the sound of a body hitting the wall. Seventh Heaven had just closed, but per usual, he showed up anyway. He knew that Rude was always there after hours, nursing a whiskey.
He opened the door, just in time to see Rude duck a punch, only to catch a blow in his stomach. Tifa used his momentary confusion to push him away so that she could from away from the wall. Both of them were bruised and bloody- but Tifa was grinning, even as Rude flung himself at her.
If Tifa was a Turk, she and Rude would be hell on wheels together.
Not to mention really hot, but that was neither here or there.
Rude pushed her against the wall, and somehow, her legs ended up around his waist. Rude pulled back slightly, only to slam her against the wall hard. She winched, and grabbed his head with both hands. Reno winced in sympathy when Tifa head butted Rude. He could hear his nose crack, echoing in the quiet room. Rude stumbled a bit, and lost his balance, and fell. Since she hadn't actually unwrapped her legs, Tifa fell right with him.
"…You broke my sunglasses," Rude mumbled.
"Are you pouting?" Tifa questioned, disbelief clean in her tone. At his silence though, she burst into laughter, letting her head fall on his chest.
Reno shook his head, and turned to leave. After all of that, Rude had better get laid.
