One by one, she lost them all.

Chase and Old Lace were the first to go- if she didn't count Alex and Gert, and she couldn't, if only for the sake of her sanity. When Chase had gotten hit with that stray bullet, he hadn't had any time to transfer Old Lace's link to anyone else. Stupid fucking L.A gangs.

Xavin had been next, and Karolina nearly with him. Her. Victor had been able to get Karolina out of the building before it collapsed around them, but Xavin hadn’t been as lucky.

Molly- Wolverine had done his best to protect her, but- she can't think about Molly. Out of them all, Molly's death is the one that hurts the most. She failed her, when Molly needed her the most.

Karolina had just disappeared, a few days after Molly had died. She understood, but she hated Karolina for abandoning her all the same. She didn’t know what happened to her, and if she was honest, she didn't really care.

And Victor- well, the boy she had known as Victor was gone, and instead, she was looking at Victorious, and they were both about to find out the limit of the Staff of One's powers.
