magic knight rayearth | fuu, hikaru, umi | 132 words
It's not a shock when Fuu is the first one to decide to stay in Cephiro permanently.
It happens after three months of 'just visiting', the day turning into weekends, and weekends turning into a week. And when Ferio asks her to marry him (in one of the castle's courtyards, in the middle of spring) she says yes, of course. (There was no other option.)
And Hikaru is so in love with Lantis that it almost hurts to look at her. The feeling is returned (obviously, Lantis took after his brother a little too much, but things are different now) and it's only a matter of time. (Five months, two weeks, and a day, and everyone was totally counting.)
After seven months, Umi stops going back. (No one asks her to stay.)

panic! at the disco | jon/spencer | 201 words
i hate writing in fandoms i've never written in before.
Spencer didn't do anything expect grunt when a solid weight landed on his back. He and Ryan had lost any concept of personal space between them years ago, and once Brendon joined the band, it had just disappeared.
"Spencer Smith, you are most comfortable."
He just wasn't used to it from Jon. Jon, who was their bassist permanently now, but managed to be both friendly and untouchable. It was something that seemed to only apply to the three of them- Spencer remembered how Jon was with the guys from the Academy Is.
"Thanks," he replied, hoping that his sarcasm was apparent, but it was too late to tell, "Are you drunk, Jon Walker?"
"Just a little."
Spencer breathed in as Jon pressed his face against his neck, nuzzling in close. His fingers were warm as they crept under his shirt, but they didn't move any further than his stomach.
"Jon-"
"Shh. Comfy. And you are totally my favorite, Spencer. I'm glad that I joined your band."
"We’re glad you joined our band too," Spencer said, amused despite himself.
"Gonna sleep now," Jon said, rolling off of Spencer, but not moving from the couch, and not letting Spencer go.
Spencer doesn't move.

buffy the vampire slayer | buffy/faith | 196 words
Faith is used to seeing weird shit. Hell, she's a vampire slayer living on top of a hellmouth; weird shit is the job description. Vampires, demon, magic- it's stuff that would freak out most people, but it's just par for the course here.
Which is why she's a little surprised at herself for being surprised. Just because she and Buffy are slayers doesn't mean that the weird shit didn't happen to them. Hell, they're walking targets for it.
Still, the wings are new and sort of special.
"My shirt is ruined," Buffy complains, crossing her arms over her chest. She's clearly trying to ignore the fact that she's stuck wearing just a bra and jeans. Faith fights the urge to tell her that least Xander isn't in here, making awkward comments. It would probably just get her hit.
"That’s the least of your problem, B," she points out instead, "You have wings."
"They're kind of hard to miss," Buffy snaps, and turns around to look at her reflection.
Faith snickers. "Maybe your name should have been Angel."
The lame pun is worth the eye-roll and the punch to the shoulder, especially when Buffy blushes and smiles.
