Once she's in the shower, she turns on the water as hot as it will go. She's always done that- the heat never bothered her like it did others- but ever since she became a slayer, it's become a more personal thing to her, something that she thought about.
If she could, Faith would wash away the last five years, and just start things all over- with Buffy and her friends, with being a slayer, but mostly with herself.
She can't though, and a part of her doesn't want to, and so she just scrubs at her skin until it's raw.
